Health and Safety Policy

We’re dedicated to ensuring the highest standards of health and safety to both our employees and our clients.  We care deeply about all who we work with, whether it’s our one-off customers who need a spring clean or those who we’ve worked with for a number of years.  Safety is paramount in everything we do and our cleaners always undertake a number of checks and precautions before beginning any tasks.  All of our employees are fully briefed and trained in the latest health and safety requirements, and we make sure that they go above and beyond the call of duty to maintain these standards at all times when working at a client’s premises.

The Cleen Company Health & Safety Policy makes it mandatory that all cleaners and employees comply with the aspects of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.  We also ensure the adherence of the Health and Safety Regulations 1992.  Both of these documents are required reading and study for our cleaners who attend properties, we’re proud of their knowledge of both legislations and we make sure they are made aware of any changes, updates and developments.

We organise regular safety committees when appropriate and necessary and provide detailed dossiers of how to identify hazards before they occur.  Some people believe that attack if the best form of defence, but we believe in prevention and precaution as a hard and fast rule.  A problem avoided is a problem solved.

All of our cleaners are trained in every aspect of their duties and are supervised and moderated at regular intervals.  All of our electrical and non-electrical equipment is maintained and routinely services to ensure the safe operation, along with protective clothing always being provided and worn when necessary.

We make regular reviews of our Health and Safety Record to ensure that our standards are always being upheld and improved upon.  Our employees understand and action both the legal Health and Safety Act and the Cleen Company policy, drastically reducing the danger of mistakes being made and learning how to quickly and effectively navigate any problems which may occur.  We teach and train our cleaners to protect themselves and everybody around them in the Health and Safety procedure.

All of our employees fully understand that co-operating with our policies is a pre-requisite to working with us, providing the perfect conditions for avoiding accidents and mistakes.  We’re always proud of the dedication that Cleen Company employees have towards Health and Safety and pride ourselves on our sterling record.
